The staff leaves...

Today was the last day that I got to spend with my staff. They are leaving tomorrow morning for the US, and it will probably be the last time that I see some of them.

We started with going to Mass at 10am, then we had brunch. We gave them time to pack and fix their rooms. We met again at 2pm to have coffee and to have an affirmation session. Good stuff. We went back to the Kartause at around 4:30 and got ready for a vigil Mass. After Mass we headed to the Director's house and had coffee, Christmas Carols and dessert.

Some of us went to the boy's night at Henri's house. It was filled with intellectual discussion on the faith, sports, and reunification of the East and Western Church. Amazing conversation. It's nothing like good conversation to inspire and reflect.

I'm off to bed now, because I have to wake up at 6am to drive the staff members to Vienna for their flight back to the US...

Good night and God bless...
